MOM-2 is 2nd mars mission orbital and it will be launch in 2022 at shriHarikota from odisha, India.
- Mars orbital mission, also called mangalyan , is a space probe orbiting Mars since 24 September 2014. It was launched on 5 November 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organisation. It was first satellite launched by the India to the red planet. Main facts of this satellite is it is successfully launch in first trail & and makes India proud in worldwide. After that India join in that country who successfully launch the mars orbital mission. After 4 years later indian parliament approved the decision of launching of MOM-2
- Mars Orbiter Mission 2, also called Mangalyaan 2, is India's second interplanetary mission planned for launch to Mars by the Indian Space Research Organisation in the 2022-2023 time frame. The orbiter will use aerobraking to lower its initial apoapsis and enter into an orbit more suitable for observations Mars Orbiter Mission 2, also called Mangalyaan 2, is India's second interplanetary mission planned for launch to mars by the Indian Space Research Organisation in the 2022-2023 time frame. The orbiter will use aerobraking to lower its initial apoapsis and enter into an orbit more suitable for observations. As we know india's 1st Mars mission was successful and Mangalyaan, had arrived in orbit after a 300-day marathon covering over 670 million kilometres (420 million miles). Remarkably, the entirety of India's Mangalyaan mission cost just 4.5 billion rupees — or about $74 million. Compare this to NASA's own MAVEN Mars orbiter, which has a total mission cost of around $672 million. Indian priminister has said about Indian mars orbital mission (mom) cost just 4.5bilion rupees which is 4times lesser than any Hollywood film costs. India's isro is the fourth space agency to reach Mars, after the Soviet space program, NASA and ESA. India's MOM-2 rocket wil be GSLV Mk-2.
